Throughout 2025 so far, Hazel has been privileged to host five sold out workshops with the Stirling Street Arts Centre in Bunbury, and the Shire of Harvey in the South-West of Western Australia.  

Introducing participants to the joy of art glass through beginners & intermediate copper-foil classes, in both 2D and 3D work, Hazel's enthusiasm for the medium is contagious!

Stained Glass Star

Saturday 29th November (10.30am - 1.00pm) - $95.00

This creative and hands-on class delivers a super simple introduction to stained glass (the copper-foil method). Suitable for complete beginners who want to explore stained glass but aren't quite ready to commit to a full day class. This 2.5 hour class gives an affordable introduction to this unique and exciting craft. 

Using pre-cut and pre-ground glass shapes, you will make a simple star suncatcher / decoration, just in time for Christmas! With the cutting and grinding already done for you, you will concentrate on learning how to foil and solder the glass - two fundamental copper-foiling skills. You will leave with your own small star for your tree or window, made using hand selected art glass in a variety of colours and finishes.
